Types of firewalls

Firewalls protect us from hackers over the network.

There are 3 types of firewalls:

1.Packet filtering firewall: It verifies the packet headers having source and destination details.

2. Application/Proxy Firewalls: It hides details of internal machine through Proxy over the network. It is generally slow than packet filtering.

3. Hybrid Firewall: Serial combination of Packet and Application firewall.
